Renovations, Extensions & Redesigns
One of our specialties, we love helping clients realise their vision for renovations, extensions, and additions of existing spaces. Because we know how it is: you walk past that same old space every day, and before long an idea pops into your head for an update.
That’s where we come in.
Our experienced team brings the same personalised service and attention to detail to projects of all sizes, large or small. We’ll come take a look, get a feel for what you’re after, and offer guidance as to the best way to get it done. This includes adding rooms, renovating existing spaces, even office/commercial space redesign.
Free Interior Design & Colour Consulting
Included in all of our building projects is complimentary interior design and colour consulting. Use your consultant to bounce ideas off of, or to help make those tough decisions about cabinetry, tiles, and other accoutrement. Our goal is to work with you to help design your home so it suits your specific lifestyle, the land it’s built on, as well as your pocketbook.

At Shepperd Building, our approach to building is caring and considerate. We aim to treat you like part of our family, with Paul and Tammy available to assist you throughout the entire building process.
Our goal is to ensure you are always aware of what’s involved in each step of the process, and to put you in the best position to make prudent decisions. This kind of direct contact between contractors and customers is hard to find; but it’s part of our commitment. And we take it seriously.

Contact us today to book a free initial consultation. It can be as simple as a quick phone call, email exchange, or even a conversation over coffee. Paul and Tammy will even meet you at a block of land to discuss your options.
This is where those sketches of floor plans you’ve done on serviettes comes in handy! Our goal is to get to know more about your block, how many bedrooms you need, budget/restrictions, budget, and wish list. We’ll listen to all the details of your project and use this consultation as our starting point moving forward.

Based on our initial consultation(s) and preliminary pricing, we’ll put together an accurate, no-obligation estimate for your project. You’ll have the opportunity to meet personally with Paul so he can walk you through everything, answer questions, and point out any other considerations for your project.

Once you’re happy with our estimate and decide to move forward, a small fee will be required to move forward. Then comes the fun part! Our team will draft full technical plans for your home and present it to you for final approval.

By step 4, we have all we need to break ground on your project and begin working. During the construction phase, our team will be in regular contact with you to work through decisions as they come up. Where do you want this towel rack to go? What about this light? You’ll be involved with every last detail to make sure your home is exactly how you envisioned it.

At long last, the time has come to give final approval and move into your new space. It’s a special feeling to finish a home project. Yet just because we hand over the keys doesn’t mean our relationship is over.
After our project is complete, the Shepperd Building team will continue to address any issues that might arise, check in from time to time, and make sure that the project was completed to your satisfaction. A member of our Shepperd Building team will meet you and one or more of the blocks of land you’re considering, helping talk through possible obstacles, possibilities, and other considerations. And we’ll do it before you sign any contract or spend a single dime with us.
